Iįound that my routers clock was off by two years and so I fixed that, and IĬhanged a setting that said that gaming network activity would receive Work, but then it didn't always work, so I had to go back to the drawingĮventually I ended up going to my router's administration area. Keep the computers from going into a ghost state. Internet information being pulled in then my router would stay alive and Thought I had figured it out and that when I just kept some kind of live It also seemed like keeping my router active by browsing the internetĪnd stuff would seem to bring the connections out of their ghost state. This made me think that maybe it had to do something with the router. Lost the connection to my Vista computer that was sharing the same network. Sometimes lose my connection to my Linux computer, but I also sometimes In the process of testing my connection, I noticed that not only did I Screen saver (b/c for whatever reason it seemed the disconnection seemed toĬorrespond w/ when the screen saver went on). Trying to disable the power-saving features in Linux and disabling the I tried pinging the remote computer more frequently and unfortunately Pretty much everything I could possibly think of. Troubleshooting this thing almost nonstop since I last emailed you. Sorry that I didn't get back to you sooner. Solution he suggested didn't work either. Tried to follow up with a LogMeIn Hamachi employee as well, but the Issue, but it apparently did it this time around.ĭo you happen to have any other ideas of what I might be able to do? I Haguichi/Hamachi tries to reconnect every time I get the ghost state It then tried to reconnect again and succeeded. The first time it tried to reconnect it failed. Showed the Linux computer as being in a ghost state, Haguichi started Interestingly, I noticed that shortly after the remote peers Hamachi peers started showing the Linux computer as having a ghostĬonnection. About 15 minutes after it started pinging, the remote I had it set to ping the remote peerĮvery 60 seconds. Idea of pinging the remote Hamachi peer from the Linux computer, but for I tried to make a reply to your question on the forum, but couldn'tįirst of all, thanks for taking the time to try to help me. Message received from Madison Knight by e-mail: I am currently using Xubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) on the computer that has Haguichi installed. I tried editing the SSH config file with the settings: TCPKeepAlive yes & ServerAliveInterval 5, but that didn't seem to make a difference It seems like there should be somewhere that I could go to tell Hamachi not to go to sleep. I realize that this might have nothing to do with your Haguichi program, but I was wondering if you might be able to point me in the right direction. However, if I then turn off the Hamachi on the non-Linux computer, and then turn Hamachi back on, the Linux based computer is all greyed out and I can't communicate with it at all. Click here to display tunnel details."Įven though, there is a little yellow triangle my connection continues to work as it should. If I then go into the details for the Linux computer's connection, and then hit details again, it says "Error: Tunnel is in a ghost state. When I view my Hamachi VPN network list from one of my other computers the Linux computer has a little yellow triangle with an exclamation next to it. I setup the network and everything communicates great however, if I leave the network alone for a little while, it seems to somehow enter a sleep mode or something. Installing your Haguichi program along with the beta linux version of Hamachi went so smoothly I thought it was too good to be true.
